     Reverend John Bell was the son of unknown Bell.1 He married Isabella Elizabeth Loraine, daughter of Sir Charles Loraine, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Campart, on 20 December 1828.1 He died on 24 October 1869.1
     He was Vicar at North Rockwell, Yorkshire, England.1

     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Navy.1 He was with the Indian Civil Service.1

     From 29 September 1868, her married name became Barrow.1
