     Joseph Bevan Braithwaite was born on 5 October 1855.1,2 He was the son of Joseph Bevan Braithwaite and Martha Gillett.1,2 He married, firstly, Anna Sophia Gillett, daughter of Jonathan Gillett, on 27 July 1881.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Grace Moscrip, daughter of Richard Moscrip, on 15 June 1901.2 He died in 1934.1
     He lived at The Highlands, New Barnet, Hertfordshore, England.2

     Lt.-Cdr. Sir Joseph Gurney Braithwaite, 1st and last Bt. was born on 24 May 1895.3 He was the son of Joseph Bevan Braithwaite and Anna Sophia Gillett.1,4 He married, firstly, Emma Jeanne Louise Teissere in 1919.3 He married, secondly, Emily Victoria Lomax, daughter of Arthur Moreton Lomax, on 31 December 1932.3 He died on 25 June 1958 at age 63.5
     He was educated at Downs School, Wraxall, Somerset, EnglandG.3 He was educated at Bootham School, York, Yorkshire, England.3 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.3 He was member of Sthe London tock Exchange in 1926.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sheffield, Hillsborough Division between 1931 and 1935.3 His marriage to Emma Jeanne Louise Teissere was annulled in 1932.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yorkshire East Riding, Holderness Division between 1939 and 1950.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bristo,l North West Division in 1950.3 He was created 1st Baronet Braithwaite, of Burnham, co. Somerset [U.K.] on 28 January 1954.1 On his death, his baronetcy becomes extinct.5

     Admiral Sir Edmund Samuel Poë was born on 11 September 1849 at Durraghmore, County Tipperary, Ireland.2 He was the son of William Thomas Poë and Mary Ellen Leslie. He married Frances Catherine Sheil, daughter of Sir Justin Sheil, in 1877.1 He died on 1 April 1921 at age 71.2
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)
