     John Mackenzie, 5th of Torrindon was born in 1754 at Scotland.¹ He was the son of John Mackenzie of Torridon and Isabel Mackenzie.² He married Anne Isabella van Dam, daughter of Isaac van Dam and Sarah Young.³ He died on 20 January 1820.³
     He purchased Torridon from Kenneth Mackenzie.³

     Beatrice Hardie was the daughter of Herbert Hardie.¹ She married Sir Pryce Edward Pryce-Jones, 1st Bt., son of Sir Pryce Pryce-Jones and Eleanor Morris, on 17 June 1886.¹ She died on 15 May 1928.¹
     From 17 June 1886, her married name became Pryce-Jones.¹
